How to Use a White Sage Smudge Stick:
1. Prepare:
Open windows and doors to allow for proper ventilation and the release of negative energy.
2. Light:
Hold the smudge stick at a 45-degree angle and light the tip until it catches fire. Allow it to burn for about 20 seconds, then gently blow out the flame, leaving a glowing ember. 
3. Smudge:
Use a fireproof bowl or shell to catch any falling ashes. Move around the space, fanning the smoke with your hand or a feather to distribute it. 
Focus on corners, doorways, and areas where you feel energy may be stagnant. 
4. Intention:
As you smudge, focus on your intention for cleansing and purification. You may want to say prayers, affirmations, or simply focus on releasing negative energy and inviting positivity. 
5. Extinguish:
To extinguish the smudge stick, gently press the lit end into the fireproof bowl or shell, or place it in a small amount of sand until the embers are extinguished.
